You know what this reminds me of? In horror games, like Resident Evil or Dead Space, if your character dies against a monster. You're treated to a really violent end that makes you go, "Oh unholy hell! I mean, it was cool and all, but DAMN!"
Granny Smith was torn apart by the timber wolves, and the screen fades to back with the blood-splattered words "YOU HAVE DIED" etched across the screen... a grim end to such a noble woman... ... ... ...
And then she respawns at the check point in the Everfree Forest, and makes it out this time.
Granny Smith - "That's right, timber wolf bitches! No one defeats this pony twice, I learn fast from my mistakes." Isaac Clark - "Damn, what a tough broad." Leon Kennedy - "I'll say."
Granny Smith - "Death is such an inconvenience..."
*Cut to present day.*
Granny Smith - "In my days, we had REAL dangers to worry about! And when we died, we had to start all over; there weren't no fancy save points! You kids today have no respect for being mauled to death repeatedly!" Applejack - *exchanges glances with Big Mac "Um... are you understanding any of this?" Big Mac - "Nope."
Okay, I wasn't sure whether the comments were serious, but I did find it quite amusing. But mocking is not clever. My sincerest apologies for typing to fast to have noticed that I placed the wrong "your" in my sentence. It must have been most grievous a task for you to understand what it is I meant. See? Not clever. I'm done here, this is a ridiculous thing to start a fight about
